The article is devoted to the analysis of the potential of Olympic education in the system of the development of humanistic values in the rising generation. Olympic education is examined as an innovative pedagogical technology, which involves a multifaceted impact on both spiritual and physical development of personality. This technology conforms to the national strategy for the development of education in Ukraine, contributes to improving education of children and youth on the basis of universal human values, promotes physical, spiritual and moral development of the rising generation, formation of socially mature personality, and preparation of young people for conscious choice of future profession.
