Objective. To put in order and integrate organizational and methodological bases of scientific-methodical provision of athletes’ preparation in the Olympic sport.
Methods. Study of printed and electronic information sources, structural and functional analysis, historical method, system modelling.
Results. Elaborated model of the system of scientific-methodical provision of athletes’ preparation has categorized the complex of notions and cause-and-effect relationships between them in integrational, functional, objective, component, structural, managing, resource, communicational and historical aspects.
Conclusion. Three groups of factors have been distinguished: forming, that condition the development and functioning of the system of scientific-methodical provision; realizing, which refer to its content and structure; influencing that characterize the system organization and environment.
